About me and my kitchen

Hi! I’m Melanie Borbon Piazza, former owner of Lanie’s Philippine Market and Kitchenette in Aurora, Colorado was born and raised in Mabalacat, Pampanga. It was the demand of the homemade food that I expanded my business from a grocery store to restaurant.

During my years as Lanie’s Philippine Market and Kitchenette I was commended by Westward newspaper for The best in Denver “One stop shop and Nosh”, My Kitchenette was rated by Channel 7, Gabby Gourmet with four stars, I was on the radio station KHOW 11.90am, In the Now newspaper, Denver Post three star, Philippine American Times, Philippine News, Channel 7 news, PASCO News Letter, Aurora Sentinel, Aurora Small business Development and Mayor Tauer’s state of the city address.

This was due to the Filipino authenticity food that was being served. I also catered many events such as The Blue Bird, Taste of Asia and at Buckley Air Force Base.
